Why We Don’t Just Move Boxes (And Never Will)

At SB Taylor Moving, our story isn’t about trucks and dollies. It’s about people.

We didn’t start this company because we love hauling couches (though we’re surprisingly good at it). We started because we saw a gap—where the moving industry was falling short, especially for people in big life transitions. Seniors downsizing. Women leaving difficult relationships. Families trying to keep it all together. People who needed more than just “two guys and a truck.”

They needed respect. Patience. A listening ear. Someone to hold space for the chaos—and maybe even laugh through the overwhelm.

So that’s what we became.

We Train for Heart—Not Just Muscle

At SB Taylor Moving, we don’t hire just anyone. We bring on kind, thoughtful, respectful team members and train them to show up with purpose and presence.

Because moving day is rarely just about the boxes.
It’s about the memories wrapped up in them.

Who We Move—and Why It Matters

Whether we’re helping:

A woman start fresh after a tough chapter

A snowbird head south for the season

A senior parent settle into assisted living

Or a family overwhelmed by the logistics

Our mission is the same:
To help people feel safe, supported, and seen during their move.

What Makes Us Different

✔ Woman-owned and trauma-informed
✔ Healthcare backgrounds and senior care experience
✔ No subcontractors—ever
